Reinforcements & Cloth
Cloth, chopped strand matt, woven, stitched, tissue & peel ply Essential fiberglass reinforcements for building strong, durable laminates in boat hulls, repairs, and custom composites. Backed by 56+ years of industry expertise at Ace Fibreglass Supplies.
Chopped Strand Mat
Emulsion bound, random oriented glass fibres (225–600gsm) for fast wet layups and thick buildups. Ideal for general repairs; soaks resin easily. Can be used with waxed or unwaxed polyester resin.
Stitched Cloth
Multi-axial (biaxial/triaxial and double bias) layers stitched without binder for lightweight strength. No weave crimp; superior to woven for directional loads in boats, spars, and structural applications.
Peel Ply & Tissue
Peel ply (nylon) for vacuum bagging and textured bonds; ideal for use with epoxy. Surface tissue provides a smooth base for gelcoat. Peel after cure for perfect next-layer adhesion.
