Versatile, cost-effective general-purpose resin ideal for fibreglass repairs, laminating, and large-scale projects like boats, automotive panels, and surfboards. Suitable for use as a surfboard polyester resin. Mix with MEKP catalyst at 1.5–2.5% ratio depending on temperature for optimal curing time of 20–40 minutes.

Hybrid resin offering superior chemical, water, and corrosion resistance compared to standard polyester perfect for marine hulls, tanks, pools and harsh industrial environments. Lower shrinkage and higher strength make it ideal for structural laminates. Catalyze at 1-2% for reliable performance in wet or humid conditions.

Waxed resin contains paraffin wax for air-inhibited surface finish, allowing easy sanding and polishing without sanding paper sticking great for topcoats. Unwaxed version bonds perfectly to reinforcements like chopped strand mat or woven cloth in multi-layer wet layups.

Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide (MEKP) is the standard catalyst for polyester and vinyl ester resins, initiating the exothermic curing reaction. Add precisely 1-2% by volume (adjust for ambient temp: more in cold). Always store separately, use PPE, and work in well-ventilated areas to avoid fumes and ensure safety.

A high-performance, clear polyester resin specifically formulated for surfboard laminating, repairs, and finishing. Designed for use with polyurethane (PU) foam cores, this resin provides excellent bonding with fiberglass cloth, creating a strong, watertight, and durable outer shell. It cures quickly when mixed with MEKP catalyst, allowing efficient workflow while delivering a smooth, glossy finish ideal for professional and DIY surfboard applications.
